Alkayeu: Nothing will change even if they appoint stableman

Aleh Alkayeu, a former head of detention centre No. 1 in Minsk, who disclosed the truth about political killings in Belarus, comments on appointing a new KGB chief.
“Anyone – a stableman, a warrant officer or a chauffeur – can be appointed KGB chief, but it won't differ from today's appointment. The KGB chief does not make decisions in today's Belarus.
Vakulchyk is a person absolutely devoted to Lukashenka. He was probably instructed to strengthen control over the personnel: they seem to have faced blackmail, mess and disorder,” Alkayeu said to charter97.org in an interview.
