Revenge for performance near Supreme Court?

Artist Ales Pushkin has been detained in Minsk and taken to Minsk's Leninski district police department.

Radio Svaboda learnt it from Ales Pushkin. He didn't have time to say why and where he had been detained, because the conversation broke off. He doesn't answer calls now. An officer on duty at the Leninski district police department says they don't have him.

Ales Pushkin recently held a performance: he went to the Supreme Court with a portrait of anti-Soviet fighter Rastislau Lapitski. The artist filed an appeal against the decision of the court of Smarhon district on 10-day custody for walking in Smarhon with the portrait of Rastislau Lapitski in September.
