Taxation agencies have been checking the politician and his family for the seventh months.
“Three of us have three administrative cases,” Anatol Lyabedzka told the press service of the United Civil Party (UCP). “My wife's sister and her husband have been obliged to file a tax return for the last 8 years. It resembles scorched earth tactics.
The law-enforcement agencies want to sow discomfort among my relatives. It's clear that no one check ordinary people who are far from politics for 8 years. It's a clearly political order. I think they won't stop here.
It's not a surprise for me. Intimidation, pressure and other dirty tricks and provocation – this is the arsenal of the authorities. They think it will last forever. But it's a big mistake. They will have to answer for everything.”
