In 2000, a group of Belarusian documentary filmmakers shot a film on occasion of the Freedom Day, when the question of independence was especially sensitive and the country was under threat of annexation.

Unusual Concert visualizes the Belarusian rock hits by means of documentary footage reflecting different pages of the country's political life. The first Belarusian music film, which was spread on video cassettes,  became very popular. It showed the other, satirical, side of the essence of the “integration policy” and dictatorship, Nasha Niva newspaper reports.

The film in now available on YouTube.

Songs of Krama, Neuro Dubel, Viktar Shalkevich, Novaye Neba, NRB bands are used in the movie.
