"MP" Victor Guminsky called the resolution of the OSCE "anti-Belarusian".
There was nothing new in the resolution on Belarus passed at the 21st Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Viktor Guminsky told a press conference on 11 July, BelTA has learnt.
“We saw nothing new in this resolution,” Viktor Guminsky said. He emphasized that many facts cited by the resolution were biased and incorrect. “I would not like to talk about the contents of the resolution, because it was compiled using the earlier resolutions of the European Parliament and the OSCE PA, if not copied word-for-word,” he said.
Viktor Guminsky emphasized, “Although individual OSCE top officials underlined the importance of a dialogue, we saw an absolutely different position in reality, unfortunately. Once again they suggested dictate, pressure, ultimatums, economic and political sanctions and visa restrictions”.
“They said nothing about the 243 Belarusian nationals banned from entering the EU and the 32 companies on which sanctions were imposed… They emphasize that this is in the interests of Belarusian citizens. You can image how it will benefit employees of these 32 companies,” he added.
