Navasyad's party nominates only Navasyad

Uladzimir Navasyad, the leader of the organizing committee to form the Freedom and Progress Party (FPP), is going to nominate himself as a parliamentary candidate.  

As the press service of the organizing committee reports, the FPP decided “to concentrate on the activity in one constituency to either gain a victory or collect the facts that the election in the constituency was rigged and thus cannot be recognized”.  

Navasyad notes members of the organizing committee have been discussing the election campaign for a year. “As a result, we took a decision to run in the election. We'll see in the course of the campaign if the election will be real or not. When more than 500 people, among them 300 dwellers of the constituency, said they would like to join my initiative group, I cannot stay aside from political struggle,” he said.

The FPP also launches the campaign “For Free Vote Count” that supposes nomination of representatives and observers for election commissions.

Uladzimir Navasyad already was a member of the “house of representatives” in 2000-2004.
