Bread prices go up again

Sales prices of bread, white bread and crisp bread increase by 10% from July 15, 2012.

The price growth is regulated by Ministry of Economy's  decree No. 60 of June 29, 2012.

“The decree gives an opportunity to manufacturers to raise sales prices by 10% in July not exceeding the maximum sales price limits for controllable groups of bread and white bread,” a press release of the Ministry of Economy says.

“The decree was adopted to compensate for the increased cost of agricultural raw materials, reduce losses of manufacturers and saturate the consumer market with socially significant sorts of bread and bakery products taking into account the proposals of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food,” the press service of the Ministry of Economy informs.

The decree comes into force on the day of its official publication – July 15, 2012.
