Belarus remains a leader in price growth in the EEC and the EU

According to six months data, in 2012 the growth rate of consumer prices in Belarus amounted to 110.5%, compared with the beginning of the year.
Among the major economies of the world, studied by the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, our country is the absolute leader.
In June of 2012 a decrease in consumer prices has been noted in most of these foreign countries. Most significant decrease has been documented in Turkey (by 0.9% compared with the previous month), the Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Bulgaria (0.5-0.6%).
A noticeable increase in consumer prices, comparing with May, was observed only in Belarus and Malta - 1.8% and 1.1% respectively. The maximum increase in prices since the beginning of the year was marked in the same countries (10.5% and 6.8% respectively).
