Lukashenka ordered to expel students to factories and farms

The ruler ordered to reduce the time of training on some specialties.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka stated this during a meeting with the Minister of Education Aliaksandr Maskevich. The ruler demanded to shift the center of gravity from the universities and colleges to the production sphere, and also called for a reduction of six months or a year of training time for certain specialties, reports STV channel.

According to experts, this list can include educational, economic, technical and other non-high-tech specialties - about 60% of all existing in Belarus. Educational plans are already under review.

"We need to shift the center of gravity to the production area: to fields, farms, factories, and teach future professionals there. For two years, for example, they must gnaw science in academies, universities and institutes, and the remaining two years, if we reduce the education for some professions from five to four years, they must be involved in a particular production process", - stated the dictator.

"If a man has chosen wrong, then let him, being a student, realize that he has made the wrong choice and let him seek his own way in life. Otherwise there will be not we who gave him a wrong education, but he who cannot work with his education", - said Lukashenka.
