Michael Scanlan has left Belarus

The term of the diplomatic mission of the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. has ended today, on July 25.

BelaPAN reminds that Michael Scanlan is a career diplomat. He used to be a member of diplomatic missions in Ukraine, Russia and in the Balkans. He can speak Russian. He headed the U.S. Embassy to Belarus starting from July 2009.
