Son born to Alyaksandr Atroshchankau and Daria Korsak

The former political prisoner and human rights activist gave their son the name Nil.

The baby was born today, July 26. The newborn weights 3,510 gr and has a height of 53 cm, former political prisoner and coordinator of European Belaus civil campaign Alyaksandr Atroshchankau told charter97.org. The mother, human rights activist Daria Korsak, feels good.

Atroshchnkau said the baby was named after Nil Hilevich, a prominent Belarusian poet, and Neil Armstrong.

We remind Alyaksandr Atroshchankau was arrested after the presidential election on December 19, 2010. He was sentenced to four years in prison for taking part in a protest rally against the rigged election. He was released in September 2011 after spending 10 months in prison.
