Reinhard Krumm: Dictatorship in Belarus won't last long

German experts are confident Belarus will become a normal country after Lukashenka quits.

“After all, Belarus is very close to Western Europe. The current situation will not last long. Mr Lukashenka will quit one day and Belarus will become a calm and normal developing country, “ Reinhard Krumm, the Head of the Friedrich EbertFoundation Moscow Office, said in an interview for Novye Izvestia.

To the remark “Lukashenka's son is growing” the expert responded: “It doesn't matter. I don't think this regime will live for a long time in the centre of Europe.”
