An independent candidate is wanted by the prosecutor’s office for calls for the boycott

A candidate for deputy Jaraslau Berniakovich received a summons via mail.

There were attempts to Call Berniakovich in Glubokoye district prosecutor’s office before, but he was away, and then prosecutors, supposedly, lost interest to his personality.

Summons is issued on 9 a.m. Aug. 27. Going to the prosecutor, Yaraslau Bernikavich told to "Radio Svaboda":

"It will probably be a continuation of the story with explanations about the boycott of the "elections" in Glubokoye constituency. In late July, I wrote in "Facebook", that proponents of the idea to boycott the "elections" have the opportunity to put their ideas into practice exactly in this area, as there are no democratic candidates. From my part I promised support if there are willing to organize a boycott. I am willing to let to use the office of my company at the time of the campaign, as well as all available means of communication - telephone and Internet. So far, there were no specific proposals. But a few days ago, my proposal for organization of a joint company of an active boycott in one or in several constituencies were supported by the civil campaign "Tell the Truth" and the movement "For Freedom".

On August 13 Canstantsin Shital was summoned to the prosecutor’s office, who wrote about the Berniakovich’s offer on the independent website westki.info. At the same time prosecutors was seeking for Berniakovich, but they failed to give him a summons. It took a few days, but prosecutors did not lose enthusiasm to get an explanation from the activist. At the moment he registered as a candidate for deputy in Novopolotsk constituency number 25.
