Makei will go to the summit Non-Aligned Movement

Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei will lead a Belarusian delegation to the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit in Tehran, Iran, on 30-31 August.
The agenda of the forum will include the most important international issues. The final document will be signed at the end of the summit.
The draft final document will include Belarus’ initiatives based on its priority objectives in the UN (recognition of variety of ways of progressive development, global partnership development, straightening cooperation between the Non-Aligned Movement and world centers of power, combating human trafficking, the youth initiative, middle income countries, the development of a global mechanism to transfer technologies of new and renewable energy sources).
Vladimir Makei is expected to deliver a speech at the plenary session and hold meetings with heads of other delegations to discuss bilateral relations.
