“The Belarusian military jet was flying over the Lithuanian airspace for about two minutes,” the Information and Public Relations Department of the Lithuanian MFA reports.

The note summoned to the Belarusian Embassy in Lithuania on Thursday demands to “provide all the available information about the violation of the Lithuanian airspace and to take steps to prevent similar incidents in the future,” the ministry informs.

It should be reminded that a training session for commanders of air force (air defence, air force troops) of the armed forces of the CIS states was carried out on April 17 as part of the session of the Air Defence Coordination Commission at the CIS Defence Ministers Council. Four jets (two Su-25 and two MIG-29) and two MI-24 helicopters landed on the motorway in the Brest region.
