A man returns extra Br 53 million to bank cashier

He found out that he was in search through the media and asked the woman to take her application away from the police.

The incident happened in the morning on March 29 in a bank branch in Prytytski Street. According to the information provided by Minsk police press-center, a client came to exchange 600 euros for Belarusian roubles. The cashier (an experienced worker) gave him 60 million instead of 6 million 600 thousand. The man took the money and left.

An hour later, the lack of money was revealed. The bank's security service provided a video-record from the police surveillance cameras. The law-enforcement agencies urged the man or the people who knew him to contact them.

On Tuesday night, the man returned the money to the bank. He wished not to disclaim his identity and asked the cashier to take her application away from the police.
