Miss Supranational 2013 title goes to the Philippines

The contestant from the Philippines has been crowned Miss Supranational 2013.

The grand finale of the international beauty pageant was held in the Palace of Sports in Minsk on 6 September.

Mutya Datul from the Philippines took home the crown and $25,000 in prize money.

The 21-year old beauty queen is fond of dancing, listening to music and watching TV. Mutya also won the Miss Personality title.

23-year old Mexican Jacqueline Morales was named the 1st Runner-up. Jacqueline likes to read and watch corrida.

Leyla Kose from Turkey was named the 2nd Runner-up. The 21-year old girl is going to be a designer; she is fond of travelling, music and dancing.

Cok Istri Krisnanda from Indonesia was named the 3rd-Runner up. The 21-year old Udayana student is into singing and dancing.

Esonica Veira from the U.S. Virgin Islands became the 4th Runner-up. Her hobbies include writing poetry, singing and make-up.

Miss Supranational Europe – Veronika Chachina, Belarus;

Miss Supranational Americas - Raquel Benetti, Brazil;

Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania – Esma Voloder, Australia;

Miss Supranational Africa – Hillary Ondo, Gabon;

Miss Elegance – Sally Lindgren, Sweden;

Miss Top Model – Valeria Donu, Moldova;

Miss Photogenic – Desiree Del Rio, Puerto Rico;

Miss Talent – Nancy Marcus, Malaysia;

Miss Internet – Khin Wint Wah, Myanmar;

Miss Friendship – Sarah Leyshan, Macao;

Miss National Costume – Alejandra Gross, Nicaragua.

The jury of the contest comprised representatives of different countries, including Miss Supranational 2010 Karina Pinilla Corro, Chief Advisor to the President of the World Beauty Association Carsten Mohr, producer of the contest in Poland Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, chairman of the board of the Second National TV Channel Grigory Kisel, showman Ivan Vabishchevich, designer Ivan Aiplatov, Miss Supranational 2012 Yekaterina Buraya, representatives of the Krinitsa company, Olympic champion Alexander Bogdanovich and other famous people.

The final show was hosted by Ivan Podrez and Denis Kuryan and co-hosted by Yekaterina Buraya.

Miss Supranational beauty pageant is the third most prestigious beauty contest after Miss World and Miss Universe. Belarus hosted this forum for the first time. This year the beauty pageant brought together the record number of representatives. The show was watched by over one billion people from 100 countries.
