An picket of solidarity with the prisoners of May 6 was dispersed in Manezhnaya Square in Moscow.

The police detained at least 12 people at the picket to support prisoners of the Bolotnaya Square case and all political prisoners.

One of the protesters received a head injury.

Eight people raised the banner “Freedom for political prisoners”. According to OVDInfo, they were Yekaterina Maldon, Alla Frolova, Sergey Shavshukov, Anton Drozdov, Reida Leinn, Alexander Makarov, Maksim Chekanov and a person, who refused to tell his name.

Pickets demanding to release the prisoners of the Bolotnaya Square case were held on Sunday in Moscow, Arkhangelsk, Krasnoyarsk and other cities.

A peaceful rally in Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012, ended with clashes with the police. A criminal case over riots was opened. It involved 33 persons, 11 of which were amnestied; 8 received prison terms of from 2.5 to 4 years; Aleksandra Dukhanina (Naumova) received a suspended sentence; Mikail Kosenko was sent to a psychiatric clinic for mandatory treatment.

Investigators have detained three more persons recently. Two of them were released on their own recognizance, one was put into custody for two months. The investigation was prolonged until November 6.
