Medvedev flies to Minsk

A meeting of the Council of Ministers of the “union state” takes place in Minsk today.

It is planned to discuss main issues of the draft budget of the “union state” for 2015 and a draft document on priority areas and primary goals for the mid-term development. The meeting participants are expected to talk about the fuel and energy balances for 2014-2015, BelTA reports.

The agenda of the meeting also includes forecast supply and demand balances regarding major products in the “union state” for 2014, the common structural industrial policy, the implementation of the action plan on the formation and development of the united transport system of the “union state” for 2013-2015. The results of the Belarus-Russia trade and economic cooperation in 2013 and the first half of 2014 will be considered.

The participants of the meeting plan to discuss the implementation of the programme of coordinated actions in the foreign policy of the members of the “union state” for 2014-2015, the draft action plan for 2015 regarding the implementation of the social development concept for 2011-2015.
