Tailors in Baranavichy cannot receive child benefits

Workers of Stoshvei sewing company in Baranavichy received only 28% of the monthly child benefit.

“It is the first time when Stoshvei company has not paid the full amount of the monthly child benefit. They explain it with the crisis at the company and promise to pay the remaining sum by October 30. They gave only 611,000 out of 2,200,000 rubles on October 20. All young mothers didn't receive benefits in full,” the worker says.

Reports of the last three or four months from across the country say that plants begin to work three or four days a week, don't pay wages in full or cut them and make employees take unpaid leave.
