David Cameron compares Russia to Nazi Germany

The UK Prime Minister called to remember the World War II lessons.

David Cameron has compared Russia to Nazi Germany because of the Kremlin's aggressive policy on Ukraine on the eve of a meeting with Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit. He said the world should learn the lessons of World War II and intervene to stop “a larger state bullying a smaller state”, the Telegraph writes.

“Russian action in Ukraine is unacceptable. We have to be clear about what we are dealing with,” David Cameron said.

The British PM noted he does not believe that there is a “military solution” to the crisis and remains convinced that sanctions against Russia will have an impact.

David Cameron earlier said the Kremlin's actions in Donbas could lead to more sanctions against Moscow.
