Gunnar Wiegand discussed with Makei “The Eastern Partnership”

“On November 19 Vladzimir Makei, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Belarus, hold talks with Gunnar Wiegand, the European External Action Service, Director for Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, Regional Cooperation and OSCE.

The sides shared the opinions on current issues and perspectives for interaction between Belarus and the EU, including Belarus involvement in “Eastern Partnership” initiative, pointed out the press-service.

It should be reminded that the visit of Gunnar Wiegand have created a scandal. The EU Representative had no plans to meet the opposition.
