Bronislaw Komorowski: Sanctions needed to stop Russia's aggression

The situation in Ukraine has become one of the main topics of the talks between the presidents of Poland and Bulgaria in Warsaw.

Onet.pl writes about the meeting of Bronislaw Komorowski and Rosen Plevneliev.

“We share a common stance on the crisis sparked by Russian aggression in Ukraine,” the president of Poland said at a press conference after the talks. Bronislaw Komorowski thanked Bulgaria for supporting the EU's policy of sanctions against Russia.

“I am convinced that we need sanctions to prevent Russia from further aggressive actions against Ukraine,” he underlined.

Rosen Plevneliev added Poland and Bulgaria “have a principled stand against Russia's actions in Ukraine”. He emphasised the importance of the common stance and consistency in relation to Moscow's aggression.
