Dinamo Minsk give up to Amur on road

Dinamo Minsk opened their six-game road trip of the 2014-15 KHL regular season on a sour note losing 2-4 to Amur Khabarovsk on 5 November.

For the Khabarovsk team it was their third success in a row after defeating Slovan Bratislava 3-1 and Medvescak Zagreb 5-2.

Three goals from the Khabarovsk team in the second period decided the game in their favor.

Amur was quick to open the game scoring 53 seconds after the faceoff. Alexander Materukhin leveled off late in the period after redirecting the shot of his linemate.

In the fist half of the second period the teams traded two more goals. Dmitry Lugin took the hosts in front just before Alexander Kulakov tied it up on a breakaway.

Mikhail Fisenko and Marcel Hascak scored two in the span of four minutes to end up Minsk resistance.

Dinamo forward Sergei Drozd got an injury and had to leave the ice in the second period.

Paul Szczechura's goal in the final stanza was denied as scored against the rules.

Amur took revenge for their recent 2-3 SO loss in Minsk. Now the team sits 12th in the East with a total of 22 points.

Dinamo Minsk keeps its 5th position in the West with 43 points after 24 games.

The Bisons are back in action Friday (7 November) on the road against Admiral Vladivostok.
