Opposition activist went out with white-red-white flag in the center of Minsk

Director Volha Mikalaichyk arrested in Independence Square.

Yulia Stsiapanava, the activist of the civil campaign "European Belarus", wrote it on her Facebook page.

"Volha Mikalaichyk was arrested. On the Square anniversary Volha unfurled a white-red-white flag near the Red Church (the Church of Saints Simon and Helen). The daily prayer for political prisoners is held there", she writes.

The arrested activist was likely taken to the police office of Maskouski District in Minsk, in whose territory the Independence Square is located.

It should be reminded that today is four years from the date of the breakup of mass protests against election fraud on December 19, 2010.
