Darya Domracheva of Belarus came in fourth in the women's 10K Pursuit on the last day of BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 1 in Ostersund, Sweden.

The Belarusian left the start line in the fifth position, 10 seconds behind Norway's Tiril Eckhoff. She finished 4th in 36:10.1 with one mistake in prone and four penalties in standing.

Finland's Kaisa Makarainen won the race in 35:01.7, with three penalties. Ukraine's Valentina Semerenko finished second, 47.9 seconds behind the winner. Italy's Dorothea Wierer came in third, 48.3 back. Both the women had four penalties.

Nadezhda Pisareva finished 22nd (2:50.4 back, three penalties), Anastasia Duborezova was 34th (3:52.9; four penalties).

Three-time Olympic champion Darya Domracheva did not make it into the list of the 7.5K sprint medalists a day earlier. The Belarusian covered the distance in 21:45.0 with one penalty in prone, finishing 5th. Norway's Tiril Eckhoff celebrated the victory crossing the finish line in 21:35.5 mark, with one penalty. Second was clean-shooting Veronika Vitkova of the Czech Republic, 4.6 seconds back. Third place went to Finland's Kaisa Makarainen (7.6 second back; 2).

Martin Fourcade of France celebrated his second victory in the successive days, this time in the men's 12.5K Pursuit. Second was Russia's Anton Shipulin, with Norway's Emil Hegle Svendsen coming in third.

Yuri Lyadov of Belarus was 39th and Vladimir Chepelin finished 47th.

BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2 is slated for 12-14 December in Hochfilzen, Austria.
