Lyapis and Amaroka to play at Solidarity with Belarus concert

Bands from three countries will play at this year's concert in Warsaw.

On April 11, the traditional annual concert Solidarity with Belarus will take place in the centre of the Polish capital, Krakowskie Przedmieście. The lineup includes the legendary Polish band Maleo Reggae Rockers, Ukrainians Kozak System and two Belarusian groups Amaroka and Lyapis Trubetskoy. It's possible that other musicians will appear on the stage. Belarusian and Polish poets will take part in the event. A street exhibition of artist Mikhal Anempadystau is planned, tuzin.fm reports.

The concert Solidarity with Belarus has been held annually since 2006 (except for 2010). Famous bands from Belarus and Poland play at the concert. Organisers of the initiative Free Belarus say they want show the Belarusian culture to the POles, tell them about the problems of Belarusians in their country and express their support. The concert is free.
