BelTA “forgets” about Belarus

The official information agency didn't mention the official stance of Minsk in the news about the voting of the UN General Assembly on Crimea.

“The United Nations General Assembly didn't recognise the outcome of the referendum in Crimea,” BelTA said on March 27. The agency informs that 100 countries voted in favour of the resolution declaring invalid the annexation of the peninsula by Russia, 58 countries abstained and 11 voted against, but fails to say how Belarus voted, mediakritika.by reports.

Official Minsk approved the occupation of Crimea. Among the CIC countries, only Belarus and Armenia have shown their support to Russia.
