Tank catches fire during parade rehearsal in Minsk

A missile system went out of order and two armoured vehicles crashed.

Several incidents took place yesterday in Minsk during the parade rehearsal. Several roads were blocked that caused huge traffic jams.

A missile system and a tank broke down at the beginning of the rehearsal near the National Library, Nikitka93 wrote on Twitter.

Two armoured vehicles crashed near the Riga shopping centre. The video was posted on YouTube by Anton Petrashevich. As it can be concluded from the video, the vehicles were not damaged.

A tank caught fire after the rehearsal. Photos were posted on Twitter by @Nikitka93. According to him, the incident took place at 1 a.m. at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Kalinouski Street. Soldiers extinguished the fire. Fire-fighters arrived on site, the tank was towed to the military base.
