Anti-war event in Minsk: Peace to peoples! (Video)

A protest against Russian aggression in Ukraine took place in the center of the Belarusian capital.

As charter97.org learnt, yesterday evening youth activists held an anti-war event in the Academy of Science metro station neighborhood. The event’s participants unrolled a banner with a writing “Death to authorities! Peace to peoples!” and disseminated leaflets.

“Not long ago it we could not see it even in a nightmare that 2 brotherly peoples would be killing one another in the very center of Europe. Now it has become obvious that authorities can betray “national interests”, which cover oligarch games, at any time and throw the peoples into the meat grinder of war for the sake of their interests and ambitions. With this event we want to express solidarity with common people of Ukraine and Russia, who at this very moment are dying for the interests of parasites and ambitions of politicians”, - the claimed.
