Belarusians and Ukrainians held a rally in Kyiv (Video)

The event was held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Lukashenka’s coming to power.

For what charter97.org learnt, during the event civic activists of both countries sent a note of protest against Belarus’ official position on Ukraine and sent Lukashenka to retirement.

“We have gathered here today, because exactly 20 years ago citizen Lukashenka usurped the power in the Republic of Belarus. We have sent an address from Belarusian and Ukrainian activists to the Belarusian embassy”, - an event’s participant reported.

A petition was signed – an address to the ruler, but the on-duty officer at the embassy said that he knew nothing on who was supposed to accept such petitions, so he asked that the petition was left on the stairs.
