Belarus delivers “goods from future” to Russia

Belarusian trucks carrying goods with the “advance” date of production were stopped in Bryansk and sent back to Belarus.

“As the result of the examination of animal products carried in the territory of the Customs Union, in cooperation with the border and customs services, the import of 8 lots of goods was banned on August 21, 2014, on the M13 road Bryansk-Homel at the village of Krasny Kamen (Bryansk region),” charter97.org learnt from the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor's division for Bryansk and Smolensk regions.

The reasons were the same: the absence of temperature control, unsatisfactory state of vehicles and damaged packages.

The most serious claim is “advance” dates of production.

Dairy products of Milkovita and Mozyr Dairy Factory had production dates of 22.08.2014 and 27.08.2014. The cargo was sent back to Belarus on August 21. According to the veterinary certificates on chilled beef from Kalinkavichy Meat Factory, the date of production was 20.08.2014, though the date on labels was 19.08.2014.
