Paviel Vinahradau gets arrested for 10 days

On 25 August the court of Minsk’s Moscow district sentenced the former political prisoner to 10 days of administrative arrest.

BelaPAN learnt the news from his wife Sviatlana Vinahradava.

Paviel Vinahradau was charged under the article 17.1 of the Code on Administrative Conduct for allegedly using fault language near Moscow district’s police station.

Earlier the leader of Zmena movement wrote on Facebook: “Cops came. They want me to open the doors. But I do not want to. We agreed that in precisely two hours I would go out voluntarily. I will go out with things packed for prison term, of course. Farewell, dear Facebook! See you in a couple weeks”.

On 24 August Zmena activists hung out 100 white-red-white flags in Minsk and Minsk district. According to the pictures, provided by Vinahradau, the flags were hung on overpasses, stops of public transport, in the subway.
