Avakov's advisor: There's full-scale invasion into Ukraine

Russian troops invade Ukraine in several directions.

Zoran Shkiryak, an advisor of Ukrainian interior minister Arsen Avakov, said it to Espresso TV.

“We should not that there is a full-scale military invasion of the Russian armed forces into Ukraine in several directions. The General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces tries to split the anti-terrorist operation forces to take control over towns in the Donbas region,” he said.

The US Department of State earlier confirmed the activity of Russian regular troops in eastern Ukraine.

According to Department of State spokeswoman Jen Psaki, they have information that Russia launched a counter-offensive in Ukraine.
