UK Foreign Office: Thousands of Russian soldiers and dozens of tanks fight in Ukraine

Russia's actions in Ukraine are unacceptable.

The statement was made by the UK's Europe Minister David Lidington in his article for Evropeiska Pravda.

According to him, thousands of Russian soldiers and dozens of Russian tanks are known to fight in Ukraine. He says he heard evidence from witnesses, saw irrefutable intelligence data and read reports in the media.

He thinks Russia's actions in Ukraine are unacceptable.

Russia refuses to recognise the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine. It annexed the territory of Ukraine at the barrel of a gun. It was Crimea first and then Russia sent its army to the eastern regions of Ukraine, Lidigton said adding that deaths and damage caused by Russia's actions on the common continent cannot be ignored.
