Baumgertner released on 15 mln ruble bail

The measure of restraint for the former Uralkali CEO charged with abuse of office has been changed to a release on bail.

Such a decision was passed by Basmanny court of Moscow, RBK writes.

As said by the spokesperson of the court Anna Fadeeva, on September 1 investigators appealed to the court and asked to change the measure of restraint to Vladislav Baumgertner to a bail of 15 mln rubles. “None of the sides objected, and the appeal was satisfied,” Fadeeva said. But she could not specify who had paid the bail for the businessman, referring to a fact that it is closed information.

Earlier The Wall Street Journal with a reference to the current head of Uralkali Dmitry Osipov informed that Baumgertner was relased in Moscow two weeks earlier. Osipov added that he already had a meeting with Baumgertner.
