Former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine footballer Husin dies

The well-known ex-midfielder of FC Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine's national football team, coach Andriy Husin, has died tragically at the age of 41.

According to media reports, at around 1400, Husin was killed at Kyiv's Chaika racetrack while riding a motorcycle.

When playing for Dynamo, Husin won seven Ukrainian league titles, four Ukrainian Cup titles, and played in the semi-finals of the 1998/1999 Champions League. He was a leading player in the Ukrainian national team for over a decade, appearing in the 2006 World Cup.
