Reservists called up for training en masse in Belarus

A conscription centre has been opened at Brest State University.

Members of the reserve and their families earlier wrote to charter97.org about the drafting of reservists in Vaukavysk (Hrodna region).

Charter97.org receives information about calling up reservists from all regions of Belarus:

“Many reservists in Brest receive draft notices obliging them to appear for special training. Men receive draft notices at work or at home. They must visit the conscription centre at Brest State University. Besides, all guys who have any exemptions are also called up. They pay special attention to those studying abroad.

A military camp for reserve soldiers and officers was set up in southern Brest region. Conscripts from Brest have already arrived for training. The explanation is that we need to resist NATO that has become active in Poland,” charter97.org learnt from a Brest reservist.
