Defense Ministry develops cohesion of combat units

Links and military units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continue their intensive scheduled military trainings.

Number of units marched to the areas where they worked out their tasks. The 6th and 9th separate mechanized brigades had making up of units and now they are taught to act as a single whole, BelaPAN reports.

About 360 people were called up for military meetings to units of the Armed Forces. In the near future as part of their units, they will march to training areas, where they will participate in tactical exercises.

At present scheduled military trainings take place at Brest, Abuz-Liasnouski, Lepel, Hozhski, Asipovichy, and Barysau training areas.

To create an environment conducive to intensification of the process of personnel training there has been brought units of the Armed Forces for special operations who in parallel exercise their own specific training and combat tasks.

From 25 to 26 January soldiers of motorized rifle company of the 120th guards separate mechanized brigade at 227th combined arms training area exercised in conjunction with the border guards the protection of a conditional section of the state border.

At Hozhski training area personnel of the motorized rifle company of the 11th guards separate mechanized brigade had lectures on the protection of the state border. Also there was considered issues upon bearing service of border squads as well as there was an educational film on the subject. Soldiers of the brigade in coordination with officials of the border guards practiced actions on the detection, blocking, seizure ("destruction") of "enemy's" sabotage-reconnaissance groups.
