Sviatlana Zavatskaia: Participation in "Elections" Is a Crime

"Candidates" in these elections just follow the scenario of the dictator.

Sviatlana Zavatskaia, widow of missed journalist Dzmitry Zavatski, told in the interview with charter97.org about attitude towards "election" campaign-2015.

- How can you access these "elections"?

I think there are no "elections" in the country. The "elections" are as good as an election "campaign". People involved just follow the scenario of Aliaksandr Lukashenka.

I believe it is a crime to play such a game, when Belarus is in critical economic and political condition.

- What are you going to do on the E-day?

- I used to go to the presidential elections in Belarus, although I knew they had been non-democratic. But as they say, hope floats. It seems that everything is over: I have no illusions.

That is why I will ignore them and recommend my acquaintances to do the same.
