30-Day Arrest for Slonim Activist

Dzmitry Yushkevich, activist of Young Front, was taken to the police office and arrested for 30 days.

His mother Iryna Yushkevich informed Radio Svaboda. She says police officers did not show any documents and detained her son. They say they had an order from Minsk.

Iryna Yushkevich tried to reach them by the phone, but they said nothing:

"I don't know how to behave. I don't even know whether he was convicted the day earlier. It is not the first time".

Some of his friends think it is related to anti-Russian military airbase action planned for October 4.
