Mikalai Statkevich: Changes in Belarus to Happen Much Earlier
Mikalai Statkevich

It will be the last Lukashenka's "elections".

Former political prisoner Mikalai Statkevich believes that the "elections" of October 11 are the last ones Aliaksandr Lukashenka takes part in, Radio Racyja reports.

"I don't think he will stand for 5 years. Elections in Belarus can change nothing. So, if the government does not allow people change the situation through the elections, people will find another way. I don't think it will last for 5 years. I believe it will happen much earlier", the politician stated.

According to Statkevich, we see slow regime degradation.

It should be added that the politician plans no actions on the E-day. Next rallies are to be held on October 4 and 10, Svaboda Square, Minsk.
