Ukraine’s Prosecutor General: Zhyzneuski Was Killed By Bullet Of Interior Affairs Ministry
MIKHAIL ZHYZNEUSKI

Maidan activists Roman Senyk and Mikhail Zhyzneuski (Mikhail Zhiznevsky) were killed by the bullets used by the Interior Affairs Ministry to stop motor vehicles.

It has been said by Head of the Special Investigations Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of UKraine Serhiy Horbatiuk.

As said by him, Roman Senyk, Serhiy Nigoyan and Mikhail Zhyzneuski were killed from a distance of at least 3 metres, while law-enforcers were at a distance of about 30 metres from the protesters, which made investigation much more difficult.

Investigators considered a version that it could have been done by plain-clothed law-enforcers or provokers, who were among the protesters.

A bullet found in the body of Roman Senyk is the one used to stop motor vehicles by agencies of the Interior Ministry. Though a bullet had not been found in the body of Mikhail Zhyzneuski, expert examination proves that he had been killed by the same kind of bullet.

As it is known, Serhiy Nigoyan was killed using a case shot, and a hunting rifle.

“We have not reached solving the crimes, but the circle of suspects was considerably narrowed… We think that we are going to obtain results,” – Horbatiuk said.

He also said that law-enforcers gave “titushky” (thugs for hire) about 400 firearm units and about 90,000 live ammunition units on February 20.

“Using “titushky” to quell protests, the authorities went beyond all limits and decided to equip them with arms. It happened on February 20, 408 units of firearms and about 90,000 live ammunition units were given directly to “titushky” from the Interior Ministry and mobilization arms depots,” – Horbatiuk said.

Earlier the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine stated that the former Ukraine’s president Viktor Yanukovych personally passed a decision to disperse the Euromaidan on November 30, 2013 in the night and ordered Vitaly Zakharchenko, the Minister of the Interior then, to carry out this action.
