In September 14,000 Belarusians Had Leave Without Pay

Over the year the number of workers who had an unplanned leave on the initiative of the employer has grown in 1.2 times.

These figures are offered by Belstat, Salidarnasts writes.

In September 34,648 Belarusians worked part-time. As compared to the analogous period of the last year, this figure has increased in almost 2.5 times.

In September about 14.5 thousand Belarusians had unpaid leaves: some of them with salaries paid, and others had unpaid leaves.

The number of workers, who had full days or full shifts of idle time, shrunk to 42,431 in September. As compared to August, this level fell by 29.9%.

Belstat also recorded decrease of real income and reduction in wages.

The number of companies that have not paid wages in October has grown almost 8.5 times. As of November 1, 111 economic entities have not paid wages to their employees in time. They have backdated wages amounting to Br52.4 billion.

At the same time, as of September 1, indebtedness of economic entities under credits for wages payment was Br1 trillion 978 billion 200 million. Hrodna region is a leader in this figures – Br384 billion. Vitsebsk and Mahilyou enterprises have taken the least of all credits for paying salaries – by Br208 billion each.
