The dictator has given Lidziya Yarmoshyna the highest level of civil servant.

A corresponding Decree No. 472 dated from November 23, 2015, was published on the National Legal Internet portal.

"To give Lidziya Mikhaylauna Yarmoshyna, Chairman of the Central Commission of the Republic of Belarus, the highest level of civil servant”, the statement says.

The highest level of civil servant to Lidziya Yarmoshyna was given on the eve of her 19th anniversary as the Head of the Belarusian CEC: she was given the position of Chairperson of the Central Commission in December 6, 1996. She took the position of Viktar Hanchar.

Over 19 years as the Head of the Central Election Commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna has held four presidential and four parliamentary campaigns. None of them has been recognized by democratic countries and international organizations as free and fair.
