Reports Drawn Up Against Participants Of Rally In Memory Of Kalinouski
VITAL HULIAK

An administrative report has been drawn up against one more participant of the Rebels Remembrance Day in Svislach.

Policemen from Vaukavysk informed the public activist Vital Huliak that a report had been drawn up against him for an administrative offence, the participation in the Remembrance Day commemorating the rebels of 1863, Viasna human rights centre’s website reports.

We remind that on October 31 the traditional Remembrance Day in memory of the Rebels of the Uprising of the year 1863 was held in the settlements of Svislach and Yakushouka, and more than a hundred of people from all parts of Belarus arrived there.

The young man is to stand trial under Article 23.34 Part 3 of the Administrative Code of Belarus (violation of the order of organizing and holding mass events) for an offence committed repeatedly within a year after imposing an administrative penalty for the same violation.

It is worth mentioning that the report says that Vital Huliak was both in Svislach and in Yakushoukal, though he had not been in Yakushouka.

Earlier reports on administrative violations had been drawn up against Hrodna dwellers Viktar Sazonau, Edvard Dzmukhouski and Uladzimir Khilmanovich. Now they are waiting for summons to court.

An activist from Svislach Yury Hlebik, who had already been fined 25 basic units by the court of Svislach district, has filed a cassation appeal to Hrodna regional court.
