Makei Discussed New Date Of Lukashenka’s Visit To Moscow With Surikov

Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Uladzimir Makei has met with Russian to Belarus Alexander Surikov on 1 December.

During the meeting the sides discussed pressing issues of Belarusian-Russian interaction and the schedule for top and high-level contacts. Charter97.org has been told about that by the Foreign Ministry’s press-service.

We remind that the official visit of Aliaksandr Lukashenka to Russia had been planned for November 25- 26. The meeting of the dictator with Vladimir Putin in a narrow format, and then talks in expanded format were to take place in Moscow.

On November 24 it was announced that the visit had been rescheduled, as said the spokesperson of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov, “owing to pressure of the presidents’ tight schedules.”
