Political prisoner Alinevich incarcerated

Ihar Alinevich is repeatedly incarcerated.

This is, at least, the fifth incarceration for the last six months in Vitsba prison. His mother Valiantsina Alinevich informed that he was repeatedly incarcerated, statkevich.org reports.

"I haven't heard from him anything for a month, so today I've decided to make the duty officer a call. Perhaps, I caught him off guard and he immediately told me that Ihar is incarcerated. He did not even pretend not to know who it was. Usually they do not answer such calls immediately, and ask to call back after a certain time, promise to find out", she said.

Ihar Olinevich's mother does not know the official cause for her son's another punishment.

Ihar Alinevich, the activist of an anarchist movement, has been sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment allegedly for violence towards official buildings. He did not found himself guilty. Earlier, he served his sentence in colony in Navapolatsk, which is "famous" for its poor conditions. In the beginning of the year it was decided to disband it. In mid-July it was reported that Ihar Alinevich convoyed to the Vitsba colony. After a short period of time the political prisoner was started to put a strong pressure on and spent a month incarcerated.

Ihar Alinevich is recognized as a political prisoner by international and Belarusian human rights community.
