Boris Nemtsov was preparing report about war in Donbas

Boris Nemtsov was going to publish a report about the war in Donbas and planned to make public the facts and documents that prove the presence of Russian troops in Ukraine.

It was said by friends of the killed Russian opposition member, Echo of Moscow radio reports.

Russian TV celebrity Ksenia Sobchak confirmed the information on Twitter.

“Ilya Yashin [Boris Nemtsov's colleague in RPR-PARNAS opposition party] said he was going to publish a report about the war in the DNR with facts and documents that prove the presence of Russian troops,” she said.

Boris Nemtsov earlier published a number of critical reports, also on the results of Vladimir Putin's presidential terms and preparations for the Sochi Olympics. He also published other anti-corruption reports.

Opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was shot dead in the centre of Moscow on the night of February 27. The politician died after several shots were fired from a passing white car that drove away after the incident.
