Mikalai Dziadok's case to be sent to prosecutor again

An investigator will send the case of the political prisoner to a prosecutor on Monday for filing it to court.

“The additional investigation into my son's case was completed on Friday. Mikalai and his lawyer read the materials of the case. The investigator told them that he would send the case to the prosecutor, who will file it to court. Last time, the prosecutor returned the case for an additional investigation. We don't know what will happen this time,” the political prisoner's parents told Radio Svaboda.

Mikalai Dziadok, an activist of the anarchist movement, was to be released in March after a 4.5-year prison term he received allegedly for attacking administrative buildings. A new criminal case was opened against Mikalai Dziadok in autumn 2014 allegedly for failure to obey. The political prisoner may spend one more year in prison. The investigation took a long time, because the prosecutor sent the case back for an additional investigation.

Relatives of Mikalai Dzaidok say his health deteriorated. Mikalai Dziadok has problems with the stomach.
